ARDC Joins ACRI
The Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) has joined the Academy for Collaborative Research Infrastructure (ACRI) as an institutional member.
ACRI is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that serves the research infrastructure community in Australia by advocating for clear career progression paths, providing professional development opportunities tailored to the specific needs of the research and innovation workforce, and fostering a community to share knowledge.
As an ACRI member, the ARDC will benefit by gaining access to best practices, benchmarks, and a network of peers who understand the unique demands of our roles. We will be part of a bigger voice for meaningful and enduring policy and systems changes in the research and innovation ecosystem.
Rosie Hicks, CEO of ARDC says, “The ARDC became an institutional member because we value the role of research infrastructure specialists and recognise the important role they play in the research landscape.
“ACRI membership provides ARDC staff with an opportunity to grow their skills and expand their networks across the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) program and beyond. A skilled and well-supported ARDC workforce is crucial for delivering on ARDC’s strategic priorities.”
Sach Jayasinghe, Executive Director of ACRI says, “ACRI is thrilled to welcome ARDC into its support base. Only together with the broad national research infrastructure community can ACRI deliver on its mission. I extend my thanks to Rosie and the ARDC leadership for investing in ACRI on behalf of the highly talented ARDC RI specialists.”
